Professor Bradley Eyre is the Foundation Director of the Centre for Coastal Biogeochemistry at Southern Cross University. He is affiliated with the Faculty of Science and Engineering and has made significant contributions to biogeochemical research, particularly in coastal and estuarine systems.
- Education: BAppSc(Hons) from University of Adelaide, PhD from Queensland University of Technology.
- Research Focus: Studies carbon and nitrogen cycling across the land-ocean continuum, with emphasis on impacts of climate change, ocean acidification, and eutrophication. His work spans scales from local sediments to global budgets, covering coral reefs, mangroves, seagrasses, and arctic systems.
- Funding & Collaborations: Attracted >$20 million in grants, including >$10 million from ARC (32 grants total), with 11 ARC Linkage projects worth $7.5 million and $3 million in contract research. Partnerships span Australian federal/state/local agencies, private sectors, and universities worldwide.

- Fellow of Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO, since 2018)
- Member of Australian Research Council (ARC) College of Experts
