Bradley Bennett is a Professor of Accounting and Department Chair at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst. He holds the Ronald C. Mannino Faculty Fellow position and previously served as Associate Dean for Finance & Administration (2018–2020) and Director of the Isenberg Dean's Academy (2022–2023). Bennett’s academic journey includes roles as Assistant Professor (2012–2018) and Associate Professor (2018–2023) at Isenberg, alongside the KPMG James Marwick Professor in Residence (2017). He earned a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Alabama (2012), an MAcc from Millsaps College (2001), and a BBA from Millsaps College (2000).

His awards include the AAA/Deloitte Wildman Medal (2015) for groundbreaking research on social mismatch effects and the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Supervisor Award (2018) for mentoring M. C. Dodgson’s dissertation. His research has been supported by grants like the KPMG LLP-funded study on computer-mediated communication (2018).
Bennett teaches courses ranging from undergraduate auditing to doctoral-level behavioral research in accounting. His advisory roles include co-chairing M. C. Dodgson’s doctoral work and overseeing the Isenberg Dean’s Academy. He maintains professional ties to KPMG, where he held roles from Senior Auditor to Audit Manager (2001–2008).
