معرفی
Braden Balentine is a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He received his Ph.D. in May 2021 working under the direction of Dr. Magdalena Czubak.
His research interests include:
- Fluid dynamics
- Parabolic and dispersive partial differential equations
- Harmonic analysis
- Differential geometry
- Mathematical physics
- Semigroup theory
Dr. Balentine's scholarly work focuses on well-posedness problems and global behavior of solutions to partial differential equations in mathematical physics, particularly examining fluid dynamics equations in non-Euclidean geometries and electromagnetic field equations. His research represents the intersection of pure mathematics with physical applications.
He has presented his research at the Special Session on Recent Advances in the Theory of Fluid Dynamics at the AMS Fall Western Sectional Meeting at the University of Utah and the Geometry & Analysis Seminar at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Dr. Balentine teaches undergraduate mathematics courses including MATH 165, Math 1300, and Math 2510, maintaining regular office hours for student consultations with specific times designated for each course.
