Brad Price is Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of Management Information Systems and Supply Chain at West Virginia University's John Chambers College of Business and Economics. He also serves as Co-Director of the Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design (BERD) Core at West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute and Chief Data Scientist for the Governor's Joint Interagency Taskforce.
His research develops data mining and machine learning methodologies with applications in business operations and healthcare. He creates scalable algorithms for large datasets and develops software tools for practical implementation. His healthcare analytics work includes COVID-19 prediction models and rural healthcare capacity optimization.
Price has received multiple awards including the AACSB Influential Leader Award (2024) and Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research Best Paper Award (2018). His research has been supported by NIH, NSF, and NCSC grants exceeding £20m.
