Brad Kamrath is an Assistant Professor at the Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship, Department of Accounting, Montana State University. His research focuses on how disclosure attributes influence investor valuation judgments and the factors shaping managerial/employee decision-making in corporate reporting environments. He teaches ACTG 201 Principles of Financial Accounting across multiple semesters.
He received the Scott & Barbara Heck Faculty Scholar Award (2024). Recent work includes a 2024 study in Behavioral Research in Accounting examining index fund ownership and managerial myopia. Professional service includes refereeing for the 2024 Accounting Behavior and Organizations Research Conference.
