Dr. Brad Johnson is the Lanna and Bob Hatton Rural Community Leadership Professor and Clinical Professor of Education at West Texas A&M University's Terry B. Rogers College of Education and Social Sciences. With 28 years of higher education experience, he has served at every administrative level including president in community colleges and most recently as Vice President of Strategic Relations.
His practitioner-oriented research examines CEO job risks, dual credit impacts on higher education, and student service models. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses while providing professional development for psychotherapists.
Leadership roles include executive committee membership for the Texas Association of Community Colleges, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board committees, and American Association of Community Colleges commissions.
