Brad A. Bemish

Colonel Brad A. Bemish serves as an Assistant Professor in the National Security Studies Department at the Eisenhower School, National Defense University. He is a career U.S. Air Force intelligence professional with extensive operational and leadership experience. Previously, he held roles including commander of the 9th Intelligence Squadron, Deputy Air Forces Central Command Intelligence Director-Forward, and Chief of the Commander’s Action Group for Third Air Force. His career spans deployments in the Middle East, North Africa, and the Balkans, with nearly 1,500 combat/combat-support flight hours.

Education includes a BA in History from Indiana University Northwest, a Master of Arts in International Relations from American Military University, and advanced military strategy degrees from Air Command and Staff College and the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies. He completed a senior fellowship with RAND Corporation’s Project AIR FORCE. His expertise integrates intelligence operations, strategic leadership, and conflict resolution in complex security environments.
