Boško Drobnjak, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Architecture, affiliated with the Department of History and Theory of Architecture and Art. He holds a PhD in Architecture (2023) and specializes in avant-garde architectural practices, experimental aesthetics, and the interdisciplinary connections between art, politics, and architecture. His research explores the intersection of theory, aesthetics, and experimental practices in architectural history.
- Affiliations: Member of International Association for Aesthetics (IAA), European Architectural History Network (EAHN), European Society for Aesthetics (ESA), ICOMOS, and Secretary of the Serbian Society for Aesthetics of Architecture and Visual Arts (DEAVUS).
- Key Roles: Secretary of the Department of History and Theory of Architecture and Art (since its establishment in 2021), reviewer for national and international journals, and participant in research units at the Faculty’s Center for Research Activity (CID).
Research Contributions: Co-editor of publications including 100 Years of the Bauhaus (2019) and Proceedings of the 21st International Congress of Aesthetics (2019). Guest co-editor for Popular Inquiry (Aalto University, 2020). Active in international projects such as DANUrB+, Cli-CC.HE, and Creative Danube, focusing on urban development and cultural heritage.
Education and Career: Began teaching at the Faculty in 2014 as a student demonstrator, became an assistant in 2019, and was re-elected in 2022. Engaged in faculty commissions for improving academic quality and organizational efficiency.
