Bozena Leven is a Professor of Economics and Chair of the Department of Economics at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), School of Business. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University (1991), an M.A. in Economics from Central School of Planning and Statistics (1980), and a B.A. in Journalism from Warsaw University (1981).
Her research focuses on international economics, economic development, migration studies, and sustainable development, with a particular emphasis on Polish economic transition, FDI dynamics, and social stratification. Recent work includes analyses of the Middle-Income Trap and comparative studies of poverty in Poland and the U.S.
