Boyd Panton

Boyd Panton is an Assistant Professor in the Materials Science and Engineering department at The Ohio State University's College of Engineering. He holds the Lincoln Electric Company Endowed Professorship and is affiliated with the Edison Joining Technology Center and The Connection Group MA2JIC. His research focuses on laser and electron beam processes, shape memory alloy manufacturing, and microwelding, with applications in aerospace, medical devices, and advanced manufacturing.
