Botond Szabo is a Professor of Statistics at the Department of Decision Sciences at Bocconi University. He is a Fellow of the Bocconi Institute for Data Science and Analytics (BIDSA) and a Faculty member of the Bayesian Learning Laboratory (BayesLab). As Project Leader of the ERC Stg “BigBayesUQ” (2022–2027), he focuses on advancing Bayesian methodologies. He serves as an Associate Editor for the Annals of Statistics (2022–present) and Bayesian Analysis (2016–present). His work integrates statistical theory with data-driven applications, emphasizing Bayesian inference and computational statistics.
