Prof. Borzoo Bonakdarpour is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University's College of Engineering. He directs the Trustworthy and Reliable Technologies Lab (TART), focusing on formal methods in distributed systems, cyber-physical systems, and security/privacy.

His recent work involves runtime verification, hyperproperty analysis, and fault-tolerant systems. He has received multiple awards, including the Withrow Excellence Award in Teaching (2022), Best Paper Awards at IEEE SRDS (2017), SSS (2014), and ACM SIES (2010), and was recognized as Best Professor by the McMaster Software Engineering Club in 2017.
Professional Activities: Serve as PC member for ICCPS'24, CAV'24, RV'23, and General Chair for SRDS'21.
