Borut Vild is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Media and Communications (FMK), Singidunum University. He holds a degree from the Department of Graphics at the Faculty of Applied Arts and Design in Belgrade and leads courses in visual communication, graphic design, and typography. His research spans design systems, visual communication, and critical design theories.

Vild has designed over 50 visual identities and hundreds of publications, serving as art director for institutions like the Center for Contemporary Art Belgrade and Politika. He has participated in 12 solo and over 100 group exhibitions internationally, with works featured in reputable design magazines. He founded the annual Designer: Author or Universal Soldier conference and the Design Seminar at the Petnica Research Station.
