Bobby Wilson

Bobby Wilson is an Assistant Professor at the University of Washington and holds the John Rainwater Faculty Fellowship. He previously served as a CLE Moore Instructor at MIT from 2015 to 2018. He earned his PhD from the University of Chicago.

His research focuses on Harmonic Analysis, Dispersive Partial Differential Equations (PDEs), and Geometric Measure Theory. He explores topics such as maximal functions, scattering theory in nonlinear Schrödinger equations, and rectifiability in rough geometric settings.

Wilson teaches graduate courses like Functional Analysis (Math 525) and Classical & Multilinear Harmonic Analysis (Math 581A). His recent publications include studies on maximal Fourier series estimates, density properties in Banach spaces, and scattering in hyperbolic spaces. He actively supervises PhD students in his research areas.
