Bobbie Leeper is an Associate Professor of Biology and Physician Assistant Programs, and Coordinator of Medical Studies. Her work bridges forensic anthropology, anatomy education, and medical ethics. She holds a B.S. in Anthropology from Mercyhurst University, an M.S. in Human Biology from the University of Indianapolis, and a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh.
Her research focuses on donor memorialization ethics, forensic bone analysis, and defleshing techniques. Notable contributions include studies on religious institutions' practices regarding body donors and the effects of chemical treatments on skeletal remains. She actively participates in organizations like the American Association for Anatomy and the American Association of Biological Anthropologists.
