Bob Turner is an active Associate Professor of Political Science at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, with dual affiliation in the Environmental Studies program. He maintains an office in Ladd Hall (Room 316) and teaches courses including State and Local Politics, where he guides students through intensive case studies of policy issues across different states.
His research focuses primarily on State and Local Politics in the American context, with special emphasis on polling methodology and regional political analysis. In 2021, he founded the SPI Polling Institute at Skidmore College, which conducts educational surveys on political and social issues in Saratoga Springs and New York's Capital District.
