Bob Lauder

Professor Bob Lauder holds a Personal Chair at Lancaster University's Faculty of Health and Medicine (FHM), serving as Deputy Dean of FHM and Deputy Head of the Lancaster Medical School. He is Director of Sports Science and contributes to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in biomedical sciences and medicine.

Research Focus:

• Structure/function of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) and proteoglycans (PGs) in health/disease
• Mechanisms of bacterial toxin production linked to sudden death
• Osteoarthritis biomarker discovery
• Development of analytical methods for GAG/PG characterization
