معرفی
Bo-Jui Chang is an Assistant Professor in the Lyda Hill Department of Bioinformatics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. His research focuses on advancing microscopy techniques, including structured illumination microscopy and light-sheet fluorescence microscopy, to study subcellular dynamics and biophysical interactions. He has held roles including Senior Research Scientist in Reto Fiolka’s lab and Assistant Instructor in the same lab prior to his current position. His work integrates optics, bioinformatics, and cell biology to explore phenomena such as integrin clustering, nanoparticle imaging, and single-molecule force measurements using optical tweezers.
Research interests span microscopy technique development, biophysical studies of cellular adhesion, and nanotechnology applications in imaging. Key contributions include pioneering lattice light-sheet comparisons, universal light-sheet generation via field synthesis, and subdiffraction imaging of nanoparticles. His research also investigates molecular mechanisms in cell signaling and mechanical interactions at the single-cell level.
Notable collaborations include work with the Fiolka and Danuser labs, advancing imaging tools for high-resolution 3D biological dynamics. His publications span journals like Nature Methods and Optics Express, reflecting expertise in both technological innovation and biological application.
