Bo Honoré is the Class of 1913 Professor of Political Economy and Professor of Economics at Princeton University's Department of Economics. He has held leadership roles such as Director of Graduate Studies, Director of the Gregory C. Chow Econometric Research Program, and Department Chair. Previously, he taught at Northwestern University and held visiting positions at the University of Chicago and University of Copenhagen. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.
His research focuses on econometric theory, panel data analysis, duration models, and censored regression. Notable contributions include work on interdependent durations, binary outcome models, and identification strategies. He has been recognized with awards like the Richard E. Quandt Teaching Prize and the Rigmor and Carl Holst-Knudsen Award.
His articles explore topics such as retirement planning dynamics, pandemic labor market impacts, and econometric methodology.
