Bo He

Bo He is a Researcher affiliated with the UWA Medical School and the UWA Centre for Medical Research (affiliated with the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research), both at the University of Western Australia. His research focuses on cancer immunotherapy, tumor microenvironment dynamics, and vascular biology, particularly exploring how pericyte phenotype switching and vascular remodeling influence anti-tumor immunity.

Key research interests include immunotherapy efficacy in malignant neoplasms, pericyte roles in tumor immunity, and modulation of vascular- immune interactions. His work contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being (SDG 3).

Recent articles highlight advancements in selective tubulin-binding drugs for anti-cancer immunity, preclinical models of immunosuppression alleviation, and tertiary lymphoid structure induction in humanized mouse models. His research has been supported by grants from Cancer Council WA, Cancer Australia, and Cancer Council NSW, focusing on improving immunotherapy outcomes for breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, and metastatic tumors.
