Bo Eriksson is an Associate Professor at the Department of History at Stockholm University. He served as the editor of Historisk tidskrift from 2015 to 2021 and has authored several acclaimed books, including The Monster Manifesto (2022), Sturas: Power, Murders, Misdeeds (2017), Monster: A World History of the Terrible (2016), and The History of the Swedish Aristocracy (2011).
Research interests include historical narratives, popular historiography, and the intersection of public engagement with academic scholarship. His work emphasizes conveying essential historical knowledge to broad audiences.
Scientific awards include the Duke Karl Prize (Great History Prize) in 2009, recognizing his contributions to public historical understanding and his status as a leading popular historian.
