Dr. Blerina Aliaj is a Lecturer at the University of Sports of Tirana's Department of Education and Health, where she has taught since 2019. She holds a PhD in Psychology/Pedagogy from the European University of Tirana (2012–2018), a Master's in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tirana (2010), and a Bachelor's in Psychology from the same institution (2008).
Her research examines:
- The bidirectional relationship between athletic performance and psychological factors in sport psychology
- Physical activity's role in enhancing cognitive, social, and developmental outcomes in children
- Integration of empirical research into pedagogical frameworks
Teaching responsibilities include:
- Bachelor's level: General Psychology
- Master of Science: Sport Psychology
- Teacher Training Master's: Developmental Psychology & Inclusive Education
Prior roles include External Pedagogue at the University of Tirana (2011–2013) and clinical work at the Regional Center for Autism.
