معرفی
Blake Norman is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Mathematics at The University of Texas at Arlington. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of North Texas (2023), an MS in Mathematics from UNT (2018), and a BS in Mathematics from UNT (2015). His research focuses on permutation groups and algebraic structures, particularly sharp permutation groups with specific stabilizer properties.
His publications analyze permutation groups where point stabilizers form Frobenius groups with cyclic kernels and stabilizers isomorphic to AGL(1,p). This work contributes to finite group theory by characterizing sharpness properties through structural group constraints and classification approaches.
Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate mathematics courses such as Calculus II, Calculus III, Linear Algebra, and Trigonometry. Course instruction emphasizes foundational mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques across multiple sections and formats.
