Blair Nelson is the Program Director of the Master of Science in Medical Sciences (Physician Assistant) program at Bethel University and an Adjunct Professor of Anatomy/Physiology. He joined Bethel in 2022 and is deeply involved in medical education, clinical mentorship, and interprofessional training. His roles include directing didactic education for the PA program and advising pre-medical and medical students through MedSchoolCoach.

His research interests focus on medical education innovation, emergency medicine clinical practices, and mentorship strategies for pre-medical and medical students. He has pioneered education programs for diverse clinical learners, including medical residents, nursing/paramedic students, and PA/NP trainees.

Advising & Mentorship: Blair mentors pre-medical students through application processes (written materials, interviews) and guides medical students through residency matching. He also advises other physician mentors at MedSchoolCoach. His clinical experience spans two decades in emergency medicine, including roles as Director of Medical Education in ER settings.
Professional Contributions: Blair teaches courses such as Medical Human Physiology, Pharmacology, and Clinical Reasoning. He is certified in ACLS/PALS/ATLS instruction and serves as a Clinical Instructor in Emergency Medicine.
