The analysis of his recent publications (2023–2024) reveals a consistent focus on hermeneutics, ethics, and the interplay between theology and contemporary politics. His work often engages with philosophical theology, drawing on thinkers like Richard Kearney and Ricoeur, and applies these frameworks to practical challenges in reconciliation and public discourse.

He also supervises postgraduate students and contributes to academic service through peer review and conference organization.
He has participated in numerous public talks and media contributions, discussing topics such as hospitality in the church, the religious other, and political enmity. His editorial work, including co-editing Approaching Religion, highlights his leadership in interdisciplinary religious studies.
