Björn Nilsson is a landscape and marine archaeologist at Lund University's Department of Archaeology and Ancient History. He serves as scientific coordinator for LUARCH, an infrastructure connecting archaeology to scientific laboratories, and leads the VR-funded project Blue Archaeology integrating submerged cultural and natural heritage. Nilsson is also a member of DARKLab, a digital archaeological research group.
