Björn Ivarsson is a Senior University Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Systems Analysis, Aalto University, within the School of Science. His research focuses on algebraic structures, symplectic geometry, complex analysis, differential geometry, and partial differential equations. He has contributed to advanced topics such as holomorphic factorization of mappings into symplectic groups and Kazhdan's Property (T) in linear groups of holomorphic functions. Ivarsson has been recognized with the SCI Teaching Award 2018 for his educational contributions.
