Björn Hartmann

Björn Hartmann is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Programming Systems, with a particular emphasis on tools for design, end-user programming, and crowdsourcing systems. He is affiliated with the Berkeley Institute of Design, Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation, and CITRIS, where he explores embodied cognition in AR/VR environments through systems research.
