Dr. Bjorn Lomborg is a visiting professor at Copenhagen Business School and a visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution. He serves as president of the Copenhagen Consensus Center, a think tank advising policymakers on cost-effective solutions to global challenges. His work focuses on climate policy, sustainable development, and economic prioritization.
Lomborg’s research critically examines the economic costs of climate policies, emphasizing cost-benefit analysis and innovation in energy technologies. He argues against panic-driven climate action, highlighting temperature-related mortality trends, renewable energy limitations, and the need for pragmatic solutions to global issues like tuberculosis and education.
Recent publications analyze climate policy failures (e.g., net-zero economics, European energy costs), media-driven climate alarmism, and inefficient resource allocation in global development. His work consistently advocates for data-driven prioritization over symbolic climate initiatives.
