Dr. Bjorn Larson is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Oklahoma State University (2024–present). He holds a Ph.D. in eCommerce from Northcentral University, MS in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas, and MS in Management Science from Troy University. His research focuses on applied computing, information systems, and STEM curriculum development. Prior roles include Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Central Oklahoma (2023–2024), Lecturer at the University of Oklahoma (2022–2023), and over 14 years as Lecturer and Program Director at University of North Texas Dallas (2008–2022).
He actively contributes to the Oklahoma State CS Outreach Committee since August 2024. Teaching specialties include foundational computer science courses (e.g., Computer Science I/II, Programming Languages, Numerical Methods), emphasizing practical applications of complex concepts. His pedagogical approach prioritizes real-world relevance and actionable insights for students.
