Biswamit Dwibedy is an Assistant Professor and Co-Program Director of the MFA in Creative Writing at The American University of Paris. He joined the Department of Comparative Literature and English in 2019, with prior teaching experience at the Srishti Institute of Art, Design, and Technology in Bangalore, India. He is a multilingual poet, editor, and scholar with a focus on experimental and interdisciplinary writing.

Dwibedy’s research explores experimental writing, poetry, and creative practices intersecting with the visual arts. His work incorporates erasure, ekphrasis, and collage, alongside historical research in medieval architecture and immigrant narratives. Recent projects include mixed-genre books on Indian medieval architecture and a historical-fiction novel set in 19th-century London.
His publications reflect interdisciplinary approaches and avant-garde literary techniques, emphasizing cross-cultural dialogues and artistic hybridity in contemporary creative writing.
