Biswajit Sahoo

Biswajit Sahoo is a Research Fellow at King’s College London, affiliated with the Theoretical Physics Group within the Department of Mathematics. He joined in October 2023. His academic journey includes a bachelor’s degree from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira (2014), followed by master’s and PhD degrees from Harish-Chandra Research Institute (2020). Prior to this role, he was a post-doctoral fellow at the Fields and Strings Laboratory, EPFL (2020–2023).

His research focuses on perturbative/non-perturbative aspects of scattering amplitudes in quantum field theory and gravity, soft theorems, gravitational memory effects, and the S-matrix bootstrap approach. He also explores conformal anomalies and renormalization group flows.

Biswajit is part of the Theoretical Physics Group at King’s, which specializes in supersymmetry, string theory, and M-theory. His work contributes to foundational questions in high-energy physics and quantum gravity.
