Bipin V. Vora

Bipin V. Vora is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology's Armour College of Engineering. He holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry (University of Mumbai, 1963), B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering (University of New Mexico, 1966 and 1967). A registered Professional Engineer in Illinois, he has extensive industry-academia collaborations, including visiting professorships at Pandeet Dindayal Petroleum University (2016–2018) and Nirma University (2017).

His expertise spans catalytic processes, petrochemical refining, and reaction engineering. He has authored over 160 publications and holds 95 U.S. patents plus 200+ international patents. Awards include Fellowships from the National Academy of Inventors (2020) and Indian National Academy of Engineering (2020), and election to the U.S. National Academy of Engineering (2018).
