Dr. Bipasha Chakraborty is a Lecturer in Lattice QCD and a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellow at the University of Southampton's High Energy Physics group. She specializes in theoretical particle physics, focusing on lattice QCD simulations to study the strong force (QCD) and precision tests of the Standard Model. Her research bridges fundamental physics with quantum computing, notably co-developing quantum algorithms for Quantum Electrodynamics in the UK. She actively supervises PhD students and teaches programming/data analysis labs (PHYS1201).
