Bing Yan is a Lecturer at the School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, University of Adelaide, affiliated with the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology. She specializes in distributed cooperative control, multi-agent systems, and reinforcement learning with a focus on autonomous systems applications.
- Research Interests: Distributed cooperative control, multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, autonomous systems, control systems, and artificial intelligence.
Dr. Yan has been recognized with prestigious awards including the Dean’s Commendation for Doctoral Thesis Excellence (2022), the University Doctoral Research Medal (2023), and the Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (2024). She is eligible to supervise Masters and PhD students as a co-supervisor.
