Bill Rankin

Bill Rankin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting at Colorado State University's College of Business. He has been teaching at CSU for three years and holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from Texas A&M University (1999) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Florida (1988).

Dr. Rankin's research focuses on applying economic and psychological theories to organizational performance evaluation and motivation systems. His work examines how compensation schemes and organizational architecture influence decision-making, as well as behavioral aspects of cost management and control. His findings have been published in top-tier journals such as The Accounting Review and Contemporary Accounting Research.
