Dr. Bill Du is a Senior Lecturer in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at La Trobe Business School, La Trobe University. He holds a PhD in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Nankai University and has held academic positions at institutions including the National University of Singapore and the University of Tasmania. His research focuses on applying machine learning, simulation, and optimization to transport and logistics systems, with particular emphasis on sustainability (e.g., carbon accounting, decarbonization of transport) and emerging technologies like blockchain and AI.
