Bilal Aleiwi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology at Michigan State University (MSU). He holds a PhD and has over 20 years of research experience spanning academic and industrial settings, specializing in organic synthesis of pharmaceuticals and natural products. His work focuses on early-stage drug discovery, including ADME/PK studies, formulation development, analytical method optimization, and mass spectrometry analysis.
Research interests include drug design for cancer therapies, antimicrobial agents against tuberculosis, and innovative drug delivery systems. Key technical expertise encompasses synthetic organic chemistry, analytical method development, and cost-effective synthetic protocols for large-scale production.
