Bianca Boyer is an Associate Professor in Developmental and Educational Psychology at Leiden University's Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences. Her work bridges clinical practice and scientific research, focusing on effective treatments for neurodevelopmental disorders like ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She develops and evaluates interventions such as 'Zelf Plannen' (self-planning CBT for ADHD) and 'SIESTA' (sleep-focused CBT for adolescents with ADHD).
Research interests include mechanisms underlying treatment efficacy, implementation science, and addressing practical gaps in mental healthcare.
