Bhaskar Murari

Dr. Bhaskar Murari is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Engineering Technology at Setu Institute of Technology. His career includes prestigious roles such as Professor and Head of Department at Vellore Institute of Technology (2019–2023), and prior faculty positions since 2007. He holds a PhD in Biomedical Instrumentation from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (2008) and a Master's from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (1999).

His research focuses on fluorescence spectroscopy, biomedical sensors, and biomaterials, with contributions to sensor development for environmental monitoring and medical diagnostics. Key areas include sol-gel based biosensors, non-invasive glucose monitoring systems, and advanced materials characterization. Recent work explores nanotechnology integration with fluorescence techniques for point-of-care diagnostics.
