Professor Beverly Wagner is Head of the Marketing Department at the University of Strathclyde's Strathclyde Business School. She holds a PhD from the University of Glasgow and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde. Her academic journey includes roles as a lecturer at the University of Stirling and Glasgow, and she became a Professor in 2019. Her research focuses on supply chain management, innovation management, and sustainability, with emphasis on open innovation, circular economy, and disruptive technologies. She leads projects funded by Scottish Enterprise and collaborates internationally, including with institutions like the Digital Office for the Scottish Government. She co-organized the 2021 R&D Management Conference and serves as Editor-in-Chief of Supply Chain Management: An International Journal. Her awards include Research Excellence Awards in 2020 and 2022. She teaches marketing strategy, supply chain management, and innovation, and advises on industry 4.0, digital transformation, and public sector procurement.

Collaborates with global firms like Stena Line and Thales, and has advised organizations such as Scottish Power Energy Networks and the Turner Group.
