Her role bridges academic research with practical business sustainability implementation across multiple industries.
Her educational background includes:
- Master of Science in Sustainability Management, Columbia University
- Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences, University of Toronto, with minors in Environmental Studies and Philosophy
Beverly's research focuses on business sustainability frameworks, transportation decarbonization strategies, and sustainable supply chain management. Her industry experience at the Port Authority of NY & NJ involved developing emissions reduction pathways for aviation, shipping, and construction sectors targeting net zero emissions by 2050, while her work at Krave Beauty centered on operational sustainability and Climate Neutral certification. This dual perspective enables her to translate corporate sustainability initiatives into measurable financial outcomes through the ROSI methodology.
As a core member of the Center for Sustainable Business team led by Tensie Whelan, she collaborates on research projects that quantify environmental and social impacts within business operations, driving evidence-based sustainability adoption across corporate partners.
