Beverly Manahan

Beverly Manahan is a Senior Lecturer in Social Care and Social Work at the University of Wolverhampton's School of Health and Society within the Faculty of Education, Health & Wellbeing. With over two decades of experience supporting vulnerable children and young people, she combines her academic work with roles as Admissions Officer, Outreach Officer, and Link Tutor for the university's partnership with the School of Coding in Birmingham.

Her research focuses on:

• Fostering as professional practice
• How cultural constructions of childhood influence policy and frontline interventions
