Betul Mutlugun is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Trinity College with a Ph.D. in Economics from Istanbul University. She joined the faculty in 2024 and specializes in macroeconomics, international finance, financialization, and income distribution using empirical approaches and econometrics.
Her research focuses on macroeconomic issues in developing economies, employing theory-driven empirical methods. At Trinity, she teaches International Finance, Global Trade and Finance, and Time Series Analysis, emphasizing practical application of theory and critical thinking development.
