Bettina Just

Prof. Dr. Bettina Just is a Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM) since 2010. Her research spans Theoretical Computer Science, focusing on computability, complexity, category theory, and quantum computing. She has contributed to projects like the Competence Center for Quantum Computing at TransMIT and the Quantum at HAWn network. She has supervised BSc and MSc theses on quantum algorithms.

She has been organizing quantum computing events since 2014 and co-authored the Springer book Quantum Computing Compact. Her career includes 20 years of project management in German/European personal insurance with a focus on mathematical and IT solutions (1990–2010).
