Beth Schaeffer is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy at Hardin-Simmons University (HSU), serving as Director of Clinical Education in the Department of Physical Therapy within the College of Health Professions. She holds a B.A. in Biology (with a Psychology minor) from HSU (1998), followed by a Master of Physical Therapy (2000) and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2005), all from the same institution. She obtained certification in vestibular rehabilitation in 2010. Prior to her academic role, she worked at West Texas Rehabilitation Center, specializing in vestibular/balance therapy and aquatic patient care. She maintains clinical involvement through guest lectures and course assistance in the PT department.
Her professional activities include leadership in clinical education and community engagement. She volunteers in church-related roles (e.g., nursery director, AWANA leader, missions team) and local initiatives like Junior Team Tennis and fundraisers for West Texas Rehabilitation Center. Her personal interests encompass travel, camping, fitness, and family activities.
