Beth Pratt

Beth Pratt is an Assistant Professor at Florida Atlantic University's Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing. With over 25 years as a Registered Nurse, she specializes in veteran mental health, human-animal interaction, and PTSD interventions through her work with Canines Providing Assistance to Wounded Warriors (C-P.A.W.W.).

Her research focuses on human-animal bonds in military families, PTSD treatment innovations, and community-engaged approaches to chronic pain management. She leads studies using magnetic resonance imaging biomarkers, digital storytelling interventions, and machine learning methods for mental health applications.
