Dr. Besim Bilalli is a researcher at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Technical University of Catalonia) within the Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB) and the Department of Service and Information Systems Engineering. He contributes to the inSSIDE and DTIM research groups, focusing on data governance, machine learning, and software engineering for data-intensive systems.
His research interests include:
- Fair and interpretable machine learning
- Knowledge graph integration with language models
- Automated data lifecycle management
- Pre-processing pipeline automation
- AI ethics in healthcare applications
