Bertram Daum

Dr Bertram Daum is an Associate Professor at the Living Systems Institute of the University of Exeter, UK, where he has held a faculty position since 2024. His research focuses on the structural biology of archaeal and parasitic systems using cryo-electron microscopy.

Scientific Awards include the 2014 Otto Hahn Medal for junior researchers and the 2014 Young Investigator’s Prize in cryoEM. The Daum Lab operates cryoEM facilities shared with the University of Bristol and collaborates with the Gold Lab on molecular mechanisms.
