Bertil Wiman

Bertil Wiman is Professor of Fiscal Law at Uppsala University, Sweden, and Director of the Uppsala Center for Tax Law research foundation. He previously held professorships at Stockholm School of Economics (1996-2008) and University of Umeå. He serves as Chairman of the Swedish Branch of the International Fiscal Association and formerly as Treasurer of the European Association of Tax Law Professors.

His research focuses on:

• International and cross-border taxation systems
• Corporate tax structures and compliance
• European Union tax legislation and policy
• Taxation frameworks for corporate groups and multinational entities

Received the Fulbright Grant for academic research at the University of Minnesota (1982/83).
